Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. About Beyond Reaction
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by:
Beyond Reaction
CVR no. 45304558
Ramsingsvej 18
2500 Valby
Denmark
Email: kontakt@claushansen.dk
Beyond Reaction provides psychotherapy, coaching, teaching, workshops, and related professional services.
2. Application of these terms
These terms apply to private and business clients unless different terms are agreed in writing.
Additional arrangements may be made for teaching, workshops, organisational work, or other business engagements. Where an individual written agreement conflicts with these terms, the individual agreement takes precedence.
Mandatory consumer rights cannot be excluded or limited by these terms.
3. Booking and formation of an agreement
You may request a session by email or through the website contact form. A submitted request is not itself a confirmed booking.
A booking becomes binding when I confirm the appointment by email or otherwise clearly confirm it in writing.
The confirmation will normally state:
The agreed service;
The date and time;
Whether the session is online or in person;
The applicable price; and
Any relevant payment instructions.
You are responsible for checking that the details in the confirmation are correct and informing me promptly of any errors.
4. Nature and geographical scope of the services
Beyond Reaction provides psychotherapy to clients who are physically located in Denmark at the time of the session.
If you are physically located outside Denmark, the service can only be provided as coaching, teaching, or another expressly agreed non-therapeutic service.
International coaching is not psychotherapy, healthcare, psychiatric care, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support. It must not be used as a substitute for locally available healthcare or mental-health treatment.
The appropriate form of service will be agreed before the engagement begins. I may decline, postpone, or end a service if its requested purpose falls outside the agreed scope or cannot be provided safely or appropriately.
Psychotherapy and coaching are collaborative processes. Their effects differ between individuals, and no particular result or outcome can be guaranteed.
5. Emergencies
Beyond Reaction does not provide an emergency or crisis-response service. Email and website forms are not continuously monitored.
If you are in immediate danger, experiencing an acute crisis, or require urgent medical or psychiatric assistance, contact the emergency services or an appropriate crisis service where you are physically located.
6. Client responsibilities
You agree to:
Tell me the country in which you will be physically located during each online session;
Inform me if your location changes;
Provide information reasonably necessary to determine whether the service is appropriate;
Attend sessions on time;
Participate from a safe, private, and suitable location for online sessions;
Ensure that your device and internet connection are adequate;
Inform me of circumstances that may materially affect the appropriateness or safety of the service;
Seek locally authorised medical, psychological, psychiatric, or emergency support where required; and
Not record a session unless we have agreed to this in writing beforehand.
If you are outside Denmark, you acknowledge that the service is coaching or teaching and not psychotherapy or healthcare.
7. Fees and payment
The applicable price will be displayed on the website or confirmed before the booking becomes binding.
Unless otherwise agreed, the same published session prices apply to psychotherapy and coaching and to Danish and international clients.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or through a Stripe payment link or QR code. Payment instructions and any applicable deadline will be provided with the booking confirmation or invoice.
You are responsible for bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or similar third-party fees associated with your chosen payment method.
Business engagements, teaching, and workshops may be invoiced under an individually agreed payment schedule.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are charged at the full session fee.
I understand that unexpected situations can arise. If they do, please get in touch. We will consider the circumstances and find the best way forward where reasonably possible.
Cancellation or rescheduling notices should be sent to kontakt@claushansen.dk. Notice is considered received when it reaches my email inbox.
If I need to cancel a session, you will not be charged. Any fee already paid for that session will be refunded or, if you prefer, transferred to a new appointment.
9. Late arrival
If you arrive late, the session will normally still end at the originally agreed time, and the full fee remains payable.
Where possible, I may agree to a different arrangement.
10. Consumer right of withdrawal
If you are an EU/EEA consumer and book remotely, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal beginning when the service agreement is concluded.
If you ask for a service to begin before the withdrawal period expires, you expressly request early performance. If you subsequently exercise a valid right of withdrawal, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied.
Once a service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal may cease if performance began with your prior express request and acknowledgement of that consequence.
To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to kontakt@claushansen.dk.
Statutory withdrawal rights and the contractual 24-hour cancellation policy are separate and apply according to their respective legal requirements.
11. Online and international services
Psychotherapy is offered only when the client is physically located in Denmark during the session.
Clients physically located outside Denmark may be offered coaching, teaching, or another expressly agreed non-therapeutic service.
International coaching does not include:
Diagnosis;
Psychotherapy;
Healthcare;
Psychiatric treatment;
Medical advice; or
Emergency or crisis support.
You must disclose your physical location accurately before and during the engagement.
If you join a psychotherapy appointment from outside Denmark, the session may need to be changed to coaching, postponed, or cancelled. Whether a late cancellation fee applies will depend on the circumstances, including whether your location was disclosed in advance.
I may decline or discontinue an international engagement if:
You require psychotherapy, healthcare, diagnosis, or crisis support;
Coaching would be inappropriate for your needs;
Local law, professional requirements, insurance conditions, or safety considerations prevent the engagement;
Your physical location has not been disclosed; or
An appropriate and safe service cannot be provided remotely.
The availability of this website in a particular country does not mean that every service is offered or legally available there.
12. Confidentiality and privacy
Information shared during psychotherapy or coaching is treated confidentially, subject to applicable law and any professional or safeguarding obligations that may apply.
Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or necessary to respond to a serious and immediate risk. Where appropriate and legally possible, I will seek to discuss such a situation with you.
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Technology and third-party services
Online services depend on internet connections and third-party technology. Although reasonable care is taken, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
If a technical problem prevents a session from continuing, we will attempt to reconnect or agree on an appropriate alternative.
Neither party is responsible for circumstances genuinely outside their reasonable control.
14. Intellectual property
Website content, teaching materials, exercises, written resources, videos, and other materials supplied by Beyond Reaction remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, materials are provided only for your personal use or your organisation’s internal use.
They may not be reproduced, published, sold, recorded, distributed, or used to train an artificial-intelligence system without prior written permission.
15. Responsibility
Services will be provided with reasonable professional care. Beyond Reaction does not guarantee a particular personal, therapeutic, commercial, or educational outcome.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for intentional misconduct or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the extent permitted by law, Beyond Reaction is not responsible for indirect business loss, lost profit, or loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client.
16. Ending an ongoing engagement
You may end an ongoing psychotherapy or coaching engagement at any time, subject to payment for completed sessions and the cancellation terms for an already-booked appointment.
I may recommend ending, pausing, or referring you elsewhere if:
The service is no longer appropriate;
The client requires a service outside the agreed scope;
The matter falls outside my competence;
The service cannot be provided safely;
The client’s physical location prevents the service from continuing; or
Legal, professional, or insurance restrictions apply.
Where appropriate, I will seek to discuss this with you in advance.
17. Complaints
Please raise concerns as early as possible by emailing kontakt@claushansen.dk so that I have an opportunity to understand and address them.
Nothing in this section restricts any statutory right to complain to a competent authority or pursue another remedy.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms and agreements with Beyond Reaction are governed by Danish law.
If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual country of residence where those protections apply.
The parties should first attempt to resolve a disagreement directly and in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved may be brought before the competent courts determined under applicable law.
19. Changes
The version of these terms in effect when a booking is confirmed normally applies to that booking.
Updated terms will be published on the website with a revised date.
